About
Twelve years of other people’s to-do lists
Marcus Bell spent eleven years on framing and remodel crews before going out on his own in 2014. The thing he kept noticing was that nobody wanted the small jobs — the sticking door, the cracked tile, the deck board that’s been soft since spring.
So that’s the business. Most weeks are a mix of half-day repair lists and one bigger job — a bathroom refresh, a run of trim, a deck brought back from the edge.
It’s deliberately one person, not a crew. You get the same face every visit, the same standard, and nobody gets handed off to a subcontractor you’ve never met.
Massachusetts HIC registered, $2M general liability, and everything gets quoted in writing before it starts.
How we work
What you can expect
We answer. And if we don’t, you get a text in seconds.
Ring at 8pm and you won’t hit a voicemail box. If the phone can’t be answered, an automatic text goes straight out asking what you need.
One person, start to finish.
The person who quotes it is the person who does it. Nothing gets handed to a sub halfway through, and nothing gets explained twice.
Small jobs are the point, not a favour.
Plenty of outfits won’t quote under a thousand dollars. Half our week is two-hour fixes, and they get the same standard as the big ones.
Drop cloths, and the dust goes with us.
Floors covered, offcuts bagged, and a vacuum out before we leave. You shouldn’t be able to tell where we worked except that it’s fixed.
